The Acorns Afterschool Club was set up in October 1998 to provide child care for children aged 4-14, Monday to Friday, 3pm to 6pm, term time only.

On arrival at the setting your child / children will be welcomed by a member of staff, making time to listen to what your child wishes to share with them. Refreshments will be available for your child to help themselves to. A varied selection of food will be freshly prepared each evening and tea served at approximately 4:30pm. Individual palates will be catered for as far as possible with the parents recording on the registration form any requirements. The children will be encouraged to eat a balanced diet and parents' / carers' wishes adhered to. A menu will be available each week for all to see.

All members are informed weekly on what activities are on offer so they can choose what they would like to do. All children when leaving the club at the end of the session must be signed out by their carer or parent. No child will be allowed to leave the club with any person that has not been cleared in advance.

All children that wish to use The Acorns Afterschool Club are welcome. We happily support children with learning and disability needs and children who speak English as a second language. This childcare service is open to all schools in the catchment area of Warminster and local villages.

Jackie and Nina thank you for your interest in this service and hope your children have a happy stay with us at the Acorns Afterschool Club.

"Staff meticulously plan the environment to support children's well-being, ensuring they have areas to relax and unwind after a busy day. Younger children sit comfortably in the cosy corner looking through books. Older children enjoy colouring and discussions about their day with their friends. Children form wonderful friendships with each other."  Ofsted 2024
